Used Bushnell Telescopes
Bushnell offers some pretty decent quality telescopes that are worth considering for entry level astronomers. These don't really compare to the Meade and Celestron advanced telescopes but do give their entry level telescopes a run for their money.
You can reach 'deep space' with Bushnells Deep Space telescopes. Basically that means you can see object impossible with the naked eye. You'll have a lot of fun without the worry of breaking a $700 telescope if they kids knock it over. These are great for checking out the moons of Jupiter or explore the craters of the moon. Bushnell does know optics quite well so you can rest assured you're getting a "better than department store" product!
